Patterns and 3D printing

Open a saved creation and choose Pattern to see its assembly guide and color counts. Sign in when asked. Check the selected layer page before printing or saving an image: a multi-page guide needs each page exported.

Actual size printing

  • Set the printer scale to 100% (actual size), then check that this ruler measures exactly 50mm after printing.
  • Exceeds A4 — the pattern may be cut off
  • Print and image save include only the current page of layers.

Download 3D print file

  • For a 3D model, use the download icon in the viewer, not the editor. Choose 3MF for color information or STL for a single-color mesh. The export uses tooth-free surfaces and preserves modeled rooms and passages. Open the file in your slicer, inspect its layers and supports, and check small details before printing. Color output depends on the slicer and printer.

Longest finished dimension (mm)

  • Designs larger than the entered size are scaled down proportionally. Leave blank for original size. Rooms and passages remain, but thin walls and interior details may be too small to print.
