MyBlockStudio is a free online design tool for creating DIY block patterns, perler bead (fuse bead) patterns, and pixel art designs. It works directly in your browser with no installation required.
Use the 2D pixel art editor to create dot art and block patterns, or the 3D editor to design dimensional block creations. In particular, the 2D editor supports up to 100,000 blocks in a single project — the best block editor out there. Upload any photo or image and automatically convert it into a block pattern with our image-to-pattern converter. In the bead editor, turn any photo into a perler bead pattern and print a per-color bead count — all for free.

Yes. Besides DIY blocks, MyBlockStudio works as a free Perler bead pattern site. Use the bead editor to color each cell on the grid, or convert a photo into a bead pattern, and get a per-color bead count list — all free.

Yes. MyBlockStudio is a site where you can create DIY block patterns for free. You can start designing right away in the 2D and 3D editors, even without signing up. However, saving a pattern to your account requires signing up.
How do I make a block pattern?
In the 2D editor, place blocks like coloring in a grid. In the 3D editor, stack blocks to build your design.
Can I save my pattern as an image or print it?
Yes. Use the Save Image button in the viewer to download the work image right away — no login needed. For more detail, the "Advanced viewer" shows a full assembly pattern with color numbers, per-color counts and block statistics. (The advanced viewer is available after logging in.)
Can I convert a photo into a block pattern?
Yes. Upload a photo to the image converter and it is automatically turned into a block pattern, with adjustable size and color count.
